Responsibilities

Thorough understanding of medical directives, guidelines, policies and procedures to provide the highest quality of care to clients
Diligently participate in the company’s training to ensure up to date knowledge of medicine and vaccination
Adhere to safety protocols as set by the company’s medical directives and regulations
Ensure clear and accountable documentation practices following accepted Company and CNO standards
Provide friendly, efficient, and safe service to clients
Perform clinic testing including blood draws, vaccine administration, spirometer, resting ECG, vision and audiometric testing
Provide individualized risk assessment and risk management information, as it relates to general health
Management of bio-hazard waste collection;
Order medical and health related supplies and restock handouts (photocopies, requisitions etc…)
Maintain vaccine inventory, ordering vaccines as needed, returning expired vaccines, receiving and storing of vaccines appropriately
Attend off-site vaccination clinics and develop and perform presentations, as required
Assist with the organization and administration of annual flu vaccination campaigns
Act as the clinical resource for staff and clients during critical clinical situations
Follow-up with the physician, the patient and Team Manager where appropriate

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN/RPN) certification with current license in good standing
First Aid/CPR certified
Ability to follow Medical Directives in order to safely administer vaccines to comply with the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Company Health Group standard of care
Superior interpersonal skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated professionalism and ability to communicate effectively with corporate clients
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
Ability to complete assigned tasks without detailed supervision
Work well under pressure and can demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing time sensitive tasks
Able to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative and good judgement
